McClosky S130

Demonstration of the McCloskey S130

The McCloskey range impressed Park Royal Managers at Hill-Head earlier this year. So when we were in the market for a new screener it made sense to have a demonstration of their S130.

Quarry Mananger, Kevin Wood said “Its output is tremendous for its size. It produces as much if not more clean material than the previous screen which had a bigger screen box”

This latest purchase demonstrates our commitment to running an environmentally friendly fleet as these Scania’s are still the only wagon engine not to require Ad-Blu to meet emission standards.

Our latest Excavators to be taken off-line are setting sail for Australia. Though large machines for the UK, they will still seem small against the backdrop of Australian quarries with their wide open expanses.

Scarab Road Sweeper

Our new Scarab Road-sweeper is a Leyland Daf FA45.160. With dual and powersweep functions, extra pressure systems and a power-lance to supply additional powerwashing functions this roadsweeper is more than ready to meet our operational requirements and has impressed us so far.

First CAT 349 ELME ordered in UK

Park Royal Takes delivery of first UK CAT 349ELME

April saw us strengthen our machinery fleet with the investment in Caterpillar’s new 50-tonne excavator. This latest addition joins an existing fleet of around 40 machines and continues our commitment to reinvesting in modern, reliable and sophisticated equipment. The purchase of this 50 tonne excavator was the first retail sale for Finning of this model in the UK and Ireland.

Three new Scania Wagons

Three new Scania Wagons

The addition of these 8x4, Euro-5 engined tipper wagons increases our delivery fleet capability to 9 dedicated vehicles. These latest tippers do not require “Ad blue”, the Scania engine being the only one on the market that is environmentally friendly enough to meet current emission standards without it.

MD, Nicola Robinson said “Naturally this keeps our running costs down which means we can minimise the cost passed onto our customers and clients.”
